I don't care for imaginary beings I'm not scared of goblins or demons, Gods and elves - never seem to show themselves So why should I believe in them? There have been hundreds and thousands of gods Each one sincerely revered You say that yours is the only true way And all the others are weird Why your particular deity, from the Middle East, in the Iron Age? Your particular deity, from the Middle East, in the Iron Age? I don’t care for imaginary beings I’m not scared of goblins or demons Gods and elves - never seem to show themselves So why should I believe in them? Two thousand years ago, ignorance reigned Peasants and even the king All thought that magical powers were real They would believe anything, like ...Your particular deity, from the Middle East, in the Iron Age. Your particular deity, from the Middle East, in the Iron Age. Based on the writings of primitive minds You think that I’ll fall in line But if I try to use reason and rhyme I’ll burn in Hell for all time!

Break Free 03:53
You took my life and you took my time with your lying And you led me on with your promises kept me trying You put your guilt on me and From Day One lied to me and I was taken in Break Free... You filled my mind with your made-up worlds of illusion And you took control of my pleasures with your delusion You gave me love with one hand The other threatened me, and I see through you now Break Free...

Do you see what I see Do you feel what I feel? When you look at the world That we share? And if all that you do slips away in between If you must live in dreams Dream in green Do you dream of a time When your kingdom will come And do you wreck your world While you wait? Do you go through the day Looking back where you've been If you must live in dreams Dream in green When you find you're awake Can you open your eyes? And d'you see, it's all there? It's in reach Really see, it's for you It's a dot, pale and blue If you must live in dreams Dream in green

Do you follow someone because they're strong? Even if they do what's wrong? Might don't make right - or not in my book anyway Might don't make right - But I see bullies everyday You can preach at me behind your pulpit But let's take a look at the Principal Culprit God killed quite a lot of people in the flood He murdered nearly everybody in the flood Always take your anorak, when you're dealing with a genocidal maniac He wiped out all the little children in the flood He destroyed tiny tots and toddlers in the flood The little babies splashed around It took some time - before they drowned And God slew all the little puppies in the flood Would have strangled all the fishies if he could Maybe I'm a simple fool, for pointing out that this is cruel It seems people then were getting on his nerves So he did to everyone what they deserved So next time someone upsets you, Will you put them in a bag and drown them too? I hope all the kids in Sunday School are taught Justice means that He will soon appear in court Since he wiped out most of every phylum We've a place for him in a criminal asylum So please ensure you have your brolly If your invisible friend is off his trolley Might don't make right - at least in my book anyway Might don't make right - But that's how bullies like to play Do you follow someone because they're strong? Even if they do what's wrong? If you're on your knees to a mafia boss It's because you don't wanna make him cross So why do you bow down to him Is it because you cannot swim?

Centuries 04:22
You open your eyes And see, here we are, Just look where we started We've all come so far But all of their labours The tears and their pain We take them for granted Forget their names Seems a shame The milllions of centuries of this world And all of the wonders, the things we have learned And now the delusions drag us back to the Dark Age. Centuries, thought and deeds, Centuries They say that in each town A torch of truth shines The teacher will bear it And brighten our minds But here comes the priest now To blow out the light He's back in the darkness With fables and lies And Reason cries In all of the centuries as we grow The lessons are hard, but soon we will know That only art, science, love and reason Have meaning Centuries, Thought and deeds, Centuries
